Harisal is the small village populated in Maharashtra's Melghaat Tiger Sanctuary, population of this village is not more then 1600, from all the near by city is Amraavati, the distance is not more then 120 KM, but it takes 3 hours to reach there because its most of the part has narrow. You should not see a milestone in the Melghaat highway and neither would look a road sign. Not too long before you reach to 10 K.M.

this village suddenly appears, some houses and blue color sign of Bank Of Maharashtra. After that Harisal's green sign board appears. The village is counted as medium sized population in the census of 2011.

Clear water is a problem. The villagers use bamboo to make things and which of them are best has sold at the prize of 25 Thousand yearly. Today Harisal is the the kind of anonymous slum that came as a Digital Village in the Indian Map.

This is a one of 350 villages that is adopted by Indian state government and giant software company Microsoft. Soon this village will connected with internet. Microsoft has given the tools for this. from this the village will connected with the world of internet. Microsoft is taking the expenditure for Education, Hospitalization and Internet.
